I wanna buy a mobile in the range of 5000.I like nokia5200 bt wanna confirm abt its GPRS.I've 2 use email frqt?

Well, the speed of data transfer via GPRS depends on the service provider. The phone is fast enough for GPRS but the service provider may not be so. In our area, BSNL's GPRS is very slow, whereas, Airtel's GPRS (Airtel Mobile Office) is much faster and better. You can go for Nokia 5200. I used Nokia 5200 previously (Now I use Nokia N78). But, you should know before you purchase it that the internal email client of Nokia 5200 and other handsets having the same version of Series40 software is a J2ME client and not so sophisticated. It wasn't satisfactory to me. So, I downloaded a third party email software- mujMail (from http://www.mujmail.org ). Though mujMail too is a Java J2ME email client, in some cases it's better than Nokia's Series40 email client. It's better to go for a Sony Ericsson handset or any Nokia handset with Series60 3rd edition software for a good email client. But, Sony Ericsson handsets have an uncomfortable joystick, whereas handsets with Series60 3rd edition software would cost much more than Rs. 5,000. So, you'd have to either download a good third party client or use Webmail.
