Has anyone had experience of changing an email address? (bt broadband).?

Spoke to bt support two days ago, did a screen sharing session, chose new email address and password and was told it would be activated 'in 24 hours'. If it was activated I can't find it! Am I doing something wrong? How does one find the sub-account and delete the old one?


(Did it because I was disgusted by lurid enticements to open the spam emails). Am not a prude, but there are limits.


(Another fuddy duddy question so please give simple instructions - if any!)

you have to access your account on line . this will show all sub accounts you have created. they should be there immediately. you need you password to access your primary account to start with.
