I understand bt sent an email to one of my contacts stating not to open emails from me as they contain a virus

I havn't got full details from him as yet but it was over the festive period. He also states that he had recieved an email from me that I never sent, I need to check this out with him. His emailaddress is "m.nelson@btinternet.com". I would appreciate any information that you can give me.

I would have thought you should be contacting btinternet for advice rather than publishing your contact's email address. God knows how many unwanted emails he'll receive now.


The problem you describe sounds like scam anyway.
Reply:Hmmm, well, maybe you have a virus, like a trojan that affects your emails. I would suggest you maybe do a full virus scan.
Reply:Defamation. Contact BT for an answer and sue them.
