BT is linked to Yahoo so I now have a BTYahoo account which I don't want to use. I've tried logging straight to Yahoo but the BT log in is carried forward from when I dialled up for my internet connection. Any ideas?
BT is my broadband provider but I want to use my non BT Yahoo email. How do I do it?
You could go to http://uk.yahoo.com and just sign in as a new user to a free Yahoo account on the web. Then you can access your e-mails anywhere, on any computer.
Reply:make sure your bt yahoo email isnt remembered on your internet or it will carry over. go to the yahoo homepage and type in your email as normal once it isnt remembered and it should be fine (im gathering its not the same name you used).
bt can not carry your email id from btyahoo to plain yahoo without it being remembered on your pc as it could help with fraudulant email usage for example you use it then hubby goes onto normal yahoo.
never keep your email remembered its not worth the risks.
